Vincent,
age 35, recalls his yearly summer jobs as counselor at
a children's summer camp in Southwest France. At age 25 he
had
reached the top, and
that summer he became director in charge... But it takes
a lot of nerve to manage
the cries,
laughs and daily mischief of 80 kids and 10 camp counselors, and
at 25, though you're just over adolescence, you're not yet
quite
an adult…
Olivier Nakache & Eric Toledano are
a writer/director team. Their collaboration began with short
films; Le Jour et
la Nuit in 1995, Les Petits
Souliers in 1999
(which
won The
Best Short Film award in the Paris Film Festival) and Those Happy
Days the
short (2002). Their directorial debut was Just Friends (2005.)
It starred Gérard Depardieu and Jean-Paul
Rouve, and was screened at COL-COA last year. Those Happy Days stars
Marilou Berry (Look
at Me, The First Time I was Twenty) Jean-Paul Rouve (A
Very Long Engagement, Podium, Just Friends ) and
is a rites of passage story, destined to charm all ages.
