COL•COA HIGH SCHOOL SCREENING
For the first time, COL•COA is hosting 2 screenings reserved for high-school teachers and their students. They will be the premiere screenings of a brand new French film during the 12th annual COL•COA Festival, A Week of French Film Premieres in Hollywood (April 14-20, 2008).

These special screenings will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 10:00 am and Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Directors Guild of America.

Admission is free.

The sessions are expected to last 2 hours and 30 minutes, which includes a Q/A session with François Truffart, Director of the festival.

The film will be selected by February 2008 and presented in French with English subtitles.

This screening is open to high school teachers and their students in the greater Los Angeles area. The selected film will suit American audiences, and will be appropriate for youth, ages 15 and older. Each school will be responsible for transportation of its students and/or insurance issues pertaining to this off-campus field trip.

Teachers involved in this program will also be invited (with a guest) to attend the full week of screenings at COL•COA.

As the response has been overwhelming, seating is limited. We are still accepting reservations and we encourage you to confirm your interest as soon as possible by contacting us at school@colcoa.org

COL•COA is proud to support a new generation of foreign film viewers.

This educational program is produced by COL•COA, with the support of European Languages & Movies in America (ELMA), in association with California Language Teachers Association (CLTA/MCLASC), American Association of Teachers of French-Southern California (AATF-SC) and the Cultural Services of the French Consulate in Los Angeles.
